Track 18 from Charanga / Saydisc / Christine Richards project - 'Listen to this' for Key Stage 3. Anon. 13th century tune from Amon Ra album 'Oboe Collection' performed by Robin Canter (1'24") Main features: traditional European instruments, ostinato. This is an old European dance played on the treble shawm and nakers. The Track Explorer has three learning tracks focusing on instrumentation, ostinato and the first four phrases of the piece.

This Listen and Respond resource is one of a range of resources relating to track 18 of the Saydisk 'Listen To This, KS3' world music recordings. It is suitable for use on first listening. The Active Listening points suggest specific (differentiated) things for pupils to listen out for as the music plays through.
